The Twilight Saga: New Moon was off to a roaring start this weekend at the box office, as expected. The film, starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, grossed $72.7 million on Friday, according to estimates from Summit Entertainment. The flick reportedly brought in $140.7 million this weekend. But, it missed being the biggest three-day debut ever, behind The Dark Knight and Spider-Man 3.
